Meet Our Team

Mighty Oaks Little Acorns owners and staff are extremely experienced and highly qualified.  Staff commit to ongoing professional development to further enhance their practice.

 

“Providers must support staff to undertake appropriate training and professional development opportunities to ensure they offer quality learning and development experiences for children that continually improves” (Statutory Framework for the Early Years Foundation Stage, 2017 p 21). All  staff at Mighty Oaks Little Acorns are fully qualifed.

Qualifications: MA Professional Development in Early Years - level 7, MSc in Psychology,  BA (Hons) 2:1 Childhood and Youth Studies - level 6,  TAQA (Assessor Award), ELKAN (Communication and Language) and an Advanced Diploma in SEN, 

 

Training: DSL (Designated Safeguarding Officer), Child Protection, First Aid, SEND (Special Educational Needs and Disability), Safer Recruitment, Food Hygiene, GDPR.

 

Other information: Governor at Hartpury Primary School, Teacher at Hartpury Primary School (drama, music, dance), Professional Singer, EYLP (Early Years Lead Practitioner), Representative on the Early Years Provider Forum, Experienced in Early Years since 2002. Opened Mighty Oaks Little Acorns 2017.
